A bit of history: the Collège of Namur

Founded in 1610, the Collège of Namur (Collegium namurcense) has undergone several transformations over the centuries. In 1773, following the suppression of the Society of Jesus, the college was relocated elsewhere. A new Jesuit college opened in 1831 in the city center, taking the name of the former Abbey of Notre-Dame de la Paix. In 1926, the boarding school was moved to Godinne under the name Collège Saint-Paul, while the entire secondary school was transferred to its current buildings in Erpent in 1971.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

We strongly advise you to plan your return to the ground after your hot air balloon experience. Your friends and family can follow our 4x4 vehicle, which remains in contact with the balloon throughout the flight. This way, they can pick you up at the landing site, which is usually about 15 km from the launch site and is not known in advance.

If you truly have no transportation options, don't worry! For flights in the Namur region, we can bring your driver (the driver of your vehicle) back to the launch site after the flight. We do everything we can to ensure your experience is pleasant and worry-free.
