We have paid great attention to the quality of the launch sites in order to allow flights regardless of the wind direction and above all to let you take off from extraordinary places for the enjoyment of both young and old.

The launch site is determined on the same day by the pilot according to the wind direction so as not to be restricted by the airspace of Bierset Airport or the overflight restrictions around the Thiange nuclear power plant, which could shorten the duration of your flight.

Depending on the wind forecast, we may also select other sites in the region within a maximum radius of 30 km to offer you the most beautiful aerial journey possible.

Upon arrival at the launch site, our team will welcome you with a complete briefing about the flight procedure and safety in order to guarantee you a pleasant adventure in the skies. Do not forget to bring your gift voucher, wear good shoes for walking in fields, and bring a cap to protect yourself from the heat of the burner.

The launch site chosen by the pilot will be communicated to you by SMS on the day of the flight before 2:30 PM for evening flights and before 6:30 PM the day before for morning flights.

We would like to remind you of a few essential points regarding the preparation of your balloon flight.

IMPORTANT PRACTICAL INFORMATION: return transport to the launch site is not provided by the montgolfiere.be team, so you must arrange your own return. Your friends, family members, etc. can follow our 4x4 vehicle, which remains in contact with the balloon, and can therefore pick you up at the landing site, which is not the same as the launch site (approximately 15 km away). This location is not known in advance.
