Place de Céroux-Mousty

Céroux is a charming, typical village nestled in the heart of Brabant, between Lasne, Court-Saint-Etienne, and Plancenoit, a short distance from Louvain-la-Neuve and Waterloo. The Place de Céroux, located just steps from the majestic 13th-century tower of Moriensart Castle, will captivate you with its warm and bucolic atmosphere. Its rural character, where calm and beauty meet, makes it an ideal place to get away from it all.

Particularly unique, it is also the largest tree-lined square in Belgium, offering a perfect setting for hot air balloon launches, an activity that has taken place there for over thirty years. To preserve the tranquility of the residents, we only fly over the Place de Céroux-Mousty at the end of the day.

• Via the Brussels–Namur motorway (E411), take exit 6 N238 Ottignies-Wavre. Turn right (if coming from Brussels) at the exit toward N238 Nivelles Ottignies-LLN (you will see the "Walibi" amusement park on your left). Leave the expressway at "Ottignies-LLN" and follow the signs for Ottignies-LLN (straight ahead). At the roundabout, follow the N237. Pass underneath the railway bridge, then continue straight. At the third traffic light, follow the sign for Céroux to the right. Drive approximately 6 kilometres. Balloon departures take place on the triangular square surrounded by trees, opposite the church of Céroux.
• Coming from Waterloo, take the Brussels–Charleroi Road (N5) toward Charleroi, then take the N25 expressway toward Wavre. Take the exit for "Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville". Turn left at the exit (toward Court-Saint-Etienne). At the "T" junction in front of the church in Court-Saint-Etienne, turn left and cross the railway. At the traffic lights, turn right toward Wavre. About 3 kilometres further, at the roundabout, turn left toward "Céroux". Continue straight for approximately 6 kilometres. At the "Gulf" gas station, turn left and follow the signs for "Céroux". Balloon departures take place on the triangular square surrounded by trees, opposite the church of Céroux.
• Coming from the E19 motorway, take the "Nivelles Sud" exit and follow the N25 toward Wavre and Louvain-la-Neuve. Take the exit for "Abbaye de Villers-la-Ville". Turn left at the exit (toward Court-Saint-Etienne). At the "T" junction in front of the church in Court-Saint-Etienne, turn left and cross the railway. At the traffic lights, turn right toward Wavre. About 3 kilometres further, at the roundabout, turn left toward "Céroux". Continue straight for approximately 6 kilometres. At the "Gulf" gas station, turn left and follow the signs for "Céroux".
