Enghien Castle

Vol en montgolfiere au Château d'Enghien

Considered in the 17th century as one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, Enghien Park has undergone a remarkable evolution over three centuries.

Enghien Castle is the largest walled estate in Belgium. From a hot air balloon, you will discover a superb example of landscape architecture, combining geometry and spatial perspective, floral art, and hydraulic engineering. You will relive the atmosphere of themed gardens and admire numerous structures that bear witness to the water features that contributed to the magical nature of the site. The isolated tower, in the middle of a grove of trees, is the only remaining vestige of the castle built in the mid-12th century by the Lords of Enghien.

Entrance to the park is free.

Considered in the 17th century as one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, the estate has undergone, over three centuries, remarkable developments and restorations and is now classified as a Major Heritage Site of Wallonia.
